Lets face it, Mapmate is brilliant but it is a wee bit confusing at times. So this is the place to ask questions, or at least vent your frustration... I will do my best to help! In the mean time, here are some useful Biological Recording links:www.mapmate.co.uk www.ecorecord.org.uk www.searchnbn.net www.nfbr.org.uk

The ecorecord site appears to be down... its parent site on the wildlife trust pages is still working, and contains contact details, etc...http://www.wild-net.org/wildbbc/index.aspx?id=68 Thanks for reporting the broken link, Draco!
