Hi this link is is well worth watching but please note: Do not handle any bat, from the UK USA or any where else with out gloves and if possible ask a bat worker with up to date vaccinations to do it for you. I.e. phone the bat helpline for advice if you find bat that needs help and or look on the BCT website for information about what to do if you find a bat. www.bats.org.uk Also the open wing hold posture in which the Professor displays some of the bats in the photos on this article is not recommended for UK bat workers wishing to keep with in the terms of their licence because it seems likely that is an uncomfortable position for the bat if not an actually damaging position for the bat: well outside of its usual anatomical postures. I.e. abit like the ancient punishment of crucifixion.
